Overnight support
For new parents or growing families the postnatal period (often called the 4th trimester) can be daunting, coupled with sleep deprivation, your recovery and much more. Let me help you take the night shift whilst you (and your partner) sleep and rest with peace of mind knowing your baby is in safe hands. Whether you are breastfeeding, developing a night time routine or bottle feeding I tailor my approach to each family I support navigate this exciting new chapter of your life with joy and confidence.​ I have experience working with a variety of families with one child, twins, additional siblings etc.

How I work with you
Whether you need more sleep or a listening ear I am here to be flexible to yours and baby needs. Sleep is essential to ensuring effective recovery and provides an opportunity for you to enjoy baby during the day. Here is an example of some of the support offered during my overnight doula support :

I will attentively look after your baby whilst you have uninterrupted sleep.

If you are breastfeeding I will bring baby to you to feed then take baby to burp and cuddle back to sleep.

Set up and sterilise bottles if baby is bottle- fed.

Replenish mother during feeds with light snacks and a drink.

Change and wind baby as and when needed.

Support with feeding and bathing, giving you an opportunity to enjoy your time.

As an Enhanced DBS overnight doula I can provide up to 11 hours per night of support.

Outcomes
One key aspect to our Overnight Doula support is focusing on helping mothers rest with peace of mind knowing their baby is being taken care of with the optimal care.
